National Botanical Garden

Gaborone's National Botanical Garden is run by the National Museum and gathers indigenous plants from Botswana's main ecological regions in one place. It is a quiet, low-key stop, useful for seeing desert, savanna, and wetland plants without leaving the city.

The garden is best treated as a short nature break rather than a major botanical collection. It pairs naturally with the National Museum and Art Gallery or a longer Gaborone day that also includes Kgale Hill or the Gaborone Game Reserve.
