Getting There

The nearest airport is Douala International Airport (DLA), Cameroon's main international hub, with connections to European cities and across West and Central Africa. From the airport, take a taxi to central Douala and then a bush taxi or shared car onwards to Limbe.

Bush taxis and shared vehicles to Limbe leave from Boulevard de la Reunification in Douala. The journey takes about an hour in normal traffic, longer on Friday evenings when Douala residents are heading to the beach. Fares are fixed and cheap; the vehicles fill up and leave when full, so there is usually no long wait. Private taxis from Douala are available for roughly four to five times the bush taxi fare and offer the convenience of a direct trip on your schedule.

There is no rail link, and no scheduled bus service runs this route.
