Accra Central Mosque is a modest but active mosque west of the city centre, close to Agbogbloshie. It is not as grand as the Ghana National Mosque in Kanda, but it gives a clearer sense of everyday Muslim life in this busy part of Accra.
The area around it is crowded and practical rather than polished. Dress respectfully, avoid prayer times unless invited in, and take local advice if you are walking here for the first time.
