The drinking action is concentrated in Osu, with a smaller cluster of expat-friendly bars in Cantonments and Airport Residential. Local highlife and hiplife bars line the side streets off Oxford Street; the cocktail-and-craft-beer crowd has its own scene around Republic Bar and the rooftops of East Legon. Cafes are still a relatively new concept in Accra, but a handful of decent espresso spots have arrived in the last decade.
