The top tourist draw in Abidjan is, interestingly enough, a hotel. The Hotel Ivoire is a self-contained city within a city: a skating rink, casino, bowling alley, movie theatre, tennis courts, and a grocery store stocked like a suburban Parisian supermarket all sit under one roof. Even if you are not staying here, it is worth wandering through just to see the place in action.
