Oasis de Fint is the classic half-day escape from Ouarzazate: a ribbon of palms, gardens, and mud-brick villages hidden in a dry valley south of town. The contrast is the point. One minute the road is all black rock and empty hills; then the valley opens and the green floor appears below you.
You need a car, driver, or tour, as the final approach can be rough after rain. Once there, keep the visit simple: walk, drink tea, ask before photographing people, and take your time with the view from the surrounding rocks rather than rushing through as a film-location checklist item.
