The Palms in Lekki Phase 1 was Nigeria's first modern shopping mall when it opened in 2005, and is still the most reliable place in Lagos to find a working ATM, a supermarket (Shoprite), a six-screen cinema, and a pleasant food court. The mall is air-conditioned and the parking is secure. Not interesting in itself, but a useful refuge after a hard morning at Lekki Market.
