The Serendipity Pier at the northern end of Ochheuteal Beach is the main departure point for boats out to the islands of Koh Rong and Koh Rong Sanloem. A line of ferry operators sells tickets from kiosks on the pier; departures run several times a day in season, less frequently in the rainy months.
Outside boat hours the pier is a pleasant place for a stroll at sunset, with seafood shacks and bars set along the road behind. For visitors heading to the islands, allow extra time — boats are sometimes late and the pier itself can be busy.
