Yuchang Garden is a focused stop within Huishan Ancient Town, Wuxi's cluster of ancestral halls, old lanes, and garden corners below Xihui. It gives the ancient-town visit a quieter classical-garden note, away from the busier commercial stretches.
See it as part of the wider Huishan circuit rather than in isolation. The pleasure is in moving between courtyards, water, carved details, and the old neighbourhood fabric that makes this side of Wuxi feel different from the lakefront sights.
