Near Nirmala Convent, a small colonial-era cemetery is known locally as Dorala Gorilu — "Europeans' graves" in Telugu. It holds the burials of British officers and civilians stationed in Cuddapah during the East India Company and Raj periods, including some killed during a Pathan uprising that centred on what is now the BKM Street area. Headstones are weathered and many are hard to read, but enough names and dates survive to give a sense of the small British community in a remote inland district.
The site is quiet and largely unvisited. Best in the early morning when the heat is manageable.
