Pothamedu View Point is one of the simplest ways to get the Munnar picture: tea bushes combed across steep hills, valleys dropping away below, and mist rolling in when the weather changes. It is close enough to town for a quick outing but feels properly high and green once you are there.
Come early or late if you can, both for softer light and fewer vehicles. The viewpoint is not elaborate; its value is the broad plantation landscape, which explains Munnar better than any indoor attraction could.
