Top Station is one of the classic viewpoints around Munnar, high on the old route toward the Tamil Nadu border. On a clear morning the view drops away through tea estates and folded hills, giving a better sense of the Western Ghats than you get from town.
Go early if you can. Clouds build quickly, traffic can be slow, and the experience is much better before the viewpoint turns into a queue of vehicles and snack stalls. It pairs naturally with Mattupetty and the upper tea country roads.
