Korigad

Korigad is a hill fort south of Lonavala, near Peth Shahpur, with intact ramparts that can still be walked for much of their roughly two-kilometre circuit. The fort likely predates 1500 and was taken into Shivaji's kingdom in the 17th century.

The climb leads to old gates, ruined structures, two hilltop lakes, small temples, and several cannons, including the large Laxmi Toph near the Koraidevi temple. It is a strong day trip for travellers interested in Maratha forts and hill views.
