Savage Garden

In a 250-year-old indigo-blue haveli tucked into the lanes near Gangaur Ghat, Savage Garden does Continental cooking with real care — proper homemade pasta, slow-cooked chicken stews, salads with locally grown herbs. The courtyard, with a small fountain and white-washed walls hung with old miniature paintings, is one of the most atmospheric dining spots in the city.

A welcome break from the endless rooftop-and-thali rotation. Around ₹1,500 for two; no alcohol, but the mocktails are inventive. Closed Sundays.
