Ku De Ta has been the senior beach club of Seminyak since 2000 — the original venue that made the formula work. The site is larger and more sprawling than Potato Head, with a beachfront lawn, three restaurants, and a long wooden bar facing west.
It pulls a slightly older, slightly more polished crowd than the newer clubs to the north, and the resident DJs tend to play deep rather than peak-hour house. The sunset cocktail hour is the standard slot; dinner at the rooftop restaurant is one of the more romantic restaurants in town. Smart casual dress required after 6 p.m.
