A handful of cold-water springs feed into a series of public bathing pools at Cikoromoy, a few kilometres south of Pandeglang town. The water comes out clear and cold from the volcanic rock under Mount Karang, and on weekends the place fills with local families.
The pools are simple, divided into shallow children's basins and deeper main pools; small warungs around the edge sell grilled fish, mie ayam, and coconut water. It is the easiest day out from Pandeglang itself and a genuine slice of Banten weekend culture.
