Penyabong Beach shows the same granite-boulder scenery that makes northern Belitung famous, but on the island's quieter southern coast. The beach is more spread out and less polished than Tanjung Tinggi, with fishing boats and low-key local traffic giving it a different rhythm.
It is a worthwhile detour if you are circling the island by car or motorbike and want a less crowded stretch of coast. Facilities are limited, so bring water and do not count on the beach being set up for a long resort-style stay.
