The D.T. Suzuki Museum introduces the life and work of Suzuki Daisetz Teitaro, the Buddhist philosopher whose writing helped spread interest in Zen Buddhism outside Japan.
The museum is small, quiet, and carefully designed. Exhibits cover Suzuki's books, calligraphy, photographs, and biography, while the contemplative room and water garden make the building itself a reason to visit.
