☰Odori Park

A broad, tree-lined park stretching 1.5 kilometres through the centre of Sapporo, dividing the city into its northern and southern halves. In summer it fills with office workers eating lunch and families on the grass. In February it becomes the main venue for the Sapporo Snow Festival, lined with enormous ice sculptures. At the eastern end, the Sapporo TV Tower offers panoramic views over the park and the city grid stretching out to the mountains.
