The main shopping street of central Nagasaki, an L-shaped covered arcade running east of the Shianbashi tram stop. It is mostly local — department stores, drug stores, optician chains, a few cafes — but a useful place to refuel on a rainy day. Several castella shops have outlets along the arcade, as does the original Tsuru-chan cafe. The cross-arcade at Kanko-dori has more eating options.
