A small British-style pub a few streets back from the corniche, the Rovers Return is a long-running expat hangout and one of the cheaper places to drink in Aqaba. The interior is a copy of the standard British pub template — dark wood, low lighting, beer taps along one wall — with the addition of large screens for international football. The food is pub food: chips, burgers, all-day breakfast.
It is not a particularly Jordanian experience, which is part of the point — dive instructors, off-duty UN staff, and long-term tourist visitors come here for a familiar pint and the football. Open from afternoon until late. Cash and card.
