A working helipad on the 34th-floor roof of Menara KH that doubles as an open-air cocktail bar from late afternoon. There is no railing — the view is straight down to the city — and the panorama of the Petronas Towers, the KL Tower, and the lit-up Bukit Bintang skyline is one of the best in the city. The whole arrangement is faintly mad and entirely typical of KL.
Get there well before sunset to grab a spot near the edge; the queue downstairs in the indoor lounge (called Heli Bar) can build up after 6 pm. Cocktails are RM 50-60 and the cover charge of around RM 50 is redeemable against drinks. Closed sometimes for actual helicopter operations. Smart casual.
