Saloma Link Walkway

Butterfly-winged pedestrian bridge opened in 2020, linking KLCC to Kampung Baru across the Gombak River

The Saloma Link is a pedestrian bridge connecting the Suria KLCC side of the city to Kampung Baru across the SUKE Highway, opened in 2020. Its distinctive form — two arching wings in blue and white — was designed to evoke the late Malaysian singer Saloma, one of the country's most beloved performers. By day it's a useful cut-through for residents; by night, lit up against the skyline, it makes for one of KL's better photography spots with the towers behind it.

The bridge is a ten-minute walk from KLCC, putting Kampung Baru's traditional wooden houses and food stalls within easy reach of the tourist district. At both ends, small vendors often set up selling drinks and local snacks. The walk across takes about five minutes.
