Bikes rent for around $1 a day in town, and the surrounding countryside is flat and easy to explore. The ride to Nanthe is a favourite — the road passes a Catholic nursery home along the way, where you're welcome to stop for tea. The surrounding paddy fields and lake views make for a pleasant half-day out.
