A smaller, dimmer and more atmospheric alternative to Busy Bee, with a focus on blues, classic rock and the occasional jazz set. The decor is suitably scruffy — band posters on the walls, fairy lights, low ceilings — and the regulars are mostly long-stay travellers and expatriates rather than passing trekkers.
Music starts later (around 9pm) and the bar stays informally open past the official Lakeside curfew. Cocktails are surprisingly good for the price. A short walk from the central Lakeside intersection.
