A long-running Lakeside favourite for Nepali, Continental and woodfired pizza

A Lakeside institution that has been feeding trekkers for over two decades. The menu is the standard upmarket-traveller mix — wood-fired pizzas, steaks, pasta, Nepali thali, and the inevitable "yak burger" — but the kitchen is consistent and the staff are excellent. The interior is high-beamed with timber and stone, with a small garden out the back; live music most nights in season.

A starter and main with a beer will run to about 2,500 NPR — high by local standards but reasonable by lakeside-international ones. Booking advisable on weekends in October–November when Lakeside is packed with trekkers. On the central strip between the lake and the main road.
