Bagh has no airport. The nearest international and domestic airport is Islamabad International Airport (ISB), roughly 3–4 hours away by road depending on conditions.
From Islamabad, buses and shared vans run to Bagh via the Murree road and the Kohala bridge crossing into Azad Kashmir. The journey takes around 3–4 hours. Departures are most frequent in the morning from the Rawalpindi/Islamabad transport hubs. The road climbs steeply from Kohala and passes through forested hills.
From Rawalakot (approximately 30 km): shared vans run between the two towns and the journey takes about an hour on winding mountain roads.
From Muzaffarabad (approximately 100 km): shared transport is available but less frequent; the route takes 2–3 hours and passes through varied mountain terrain.
There is no rail connection to Bagh or anywhere in Azad Kashmir.
