The chairlift at Pindi Point runs from the viewpoint down into the Bansara Gali valley below. It is one of Murree's most popular activities for families and offers a different perspective on the forested ridges than you get from the road. The ride is leisurely rather than thrilling — single chairs with safety bars, moving at moderate speed through pine and fir canopy.
The chairlift runs from around 9am to 6pm, weather permitting, and closes in heavy rain or wind. Tickets are purchased at the base. The upper station at Pindi Point has the usual cluster of food and snack stalls. If the chairlift is not running, the valley below is worth reaching on foot via a steep path through the forest.
