The galleries display figurines from Mohenjo-daro in Sindh, pottery from sites across Balochistan, and Stone Age implements found in the Zhob, Quetta and Kalat valleys — material that puts the region's six-thousand-year-old human story in front of you. Despite the name, it is not all archaeology: a side room of militaria includes a sword, with the bloodstains still visible, used in 1919 to kill a British political officer.
