A turquoise reservoir set in bare hills about ten kilometres east of the city, on the way to the Urak Valley. Pavilions and benches step down to the water; rowing boats are for hire and the golden carp will swim right up to the edge to be fed. The contrast between the bright water and the brown-green ridges around it is the whole point — come at the end of the afternoon, when the light softens and the surrounding rock turns warm.
