Quetta's attractions are mostly outside the city — the lake, the national park, the orchard valleys. Within town, the bazaars along Jinnah Road and the Archaeological Museum are the obvious stops. All of the day-trip destinations below sit within an hour or two of the centre, but bear in mind that independent foreign travel in Balochistan typically requires a No Objection Certificate and a police escort.
