Jigdup Shoal is one of Camiguin's best dive sites — a submerged reef on the island's south coast where the volcanic topography creates dramatic underwater walls and canyons. The shoal drops sharply from about 5 metres to over 30, and the wall is covered in soft corals and sea fans. The concentration of fish is high, with regular sightings of jacks, barracuda, and reef sharks.
The site is about 30 minutes from the main north coast resort area by banca and is typically visited on half-day or full-day dive trips. The water visibility is best from March to May, when the prevailing currents bring clear water from the open Bohol Sea. Camiguin dive operators offer guided trips; the site is suitable for experienced divers — beginners should check with their operator about conditions.
