A three-tiered waterfall 98 km south-west of Cebu City in the municipality of Badian, fed by mountain springs that keep the water a vivid turquoise-green year round. The drive takes 2.5–3 hours; from the car park a 15–30 minute walk along a river path leads to the main falls, where bamboo rafts float in the pool below. Further up, the gorge narrows and you swim between limestone walls. Canyoneering tours from the falls down to the sea have become popular — a full-day excursion typically booked through agencies in Moalboal or Cebu City. Go on a weekday if possible; weekends draw large local crowds.
