Maasin's nightlife is quiet by any measure. A handful of small bars and videoke rooms serve cold beer — San Miguel and Red Horse are everywhere — and local rum. The waterfront is the nicest place to drink in the evening, whether at a stall or simply sitting on the seawall. There are a couple of small cafes near the cathedral plaza serving coffee and snacks during the day.
