Maasin has the range of eating options you would expect from a provincial Philippine capital: a handful of local restaurants serving rice meals, grilled fish, and noodle soups; a small public market with cooked food stalls; and basic fast food. Seafood is the obvious choice — the catch from Sogod Bay and the Bohol Sea is fresh and cheap. Don't expect fine dining, but honest, filling meals are easy to find.
