Down a quiet residential alley off Fuxing South Road, Indulge is one of Taipei's best cocktail bars and a regular fixture on the Asia's 50 Best Bars list. The room is small and dim — leather banquettes, brass-and-walnut bar, a single counter where the bartenders work — and the drinks are dense, complex, and rooted in Taiwanese ingredients (oolong tea, mountain-grown coffee, local liqueurs).
The menu changes seasonally; the house policy is to make a drink from a conversation with the bartender if you prefer, which is the better way to use the experience. Bookings essential at weekends. Pricier than most Taipei bars but in line with the quality.
