Most of what Hat Yai offers happens after dark — the night markets, the street food, the lively bars. By day the city itself has only a handful of conventional sights, but several worthwhile temples, parks, and a famous floating market sit within an easy ride. Use mornings for sightseeing, late afternoons for the markets, and evenings for eating.
