Wat Phra Sing is an old Chiang Rai temple with a Lanna-style ordination hall and finely carved wooden doors made by local craftsmen. It once housed the Phra Buddha Sihing image, now associated with Chiang Mai, and today keeps a replica in its place.
The temple is close to the city centre and pairs well with Wat Phra Kaeo and the night bazaar on a walk through central Chiang Rai.
