Ankara's café and bar scene is concentrated in Kızılay and in the Tunalı Hilmi Caddesi area in Çankaya. Kızılay has dozens of tea houses and small bars along the side streets off the main square. Tunalı Hilmi is the more upscale option, with wine bars, cocktail bars, and the terraced cafes popular with students from the nearby universities.
Ankara also has a significant classical music and arts scene — the Presidential Symphony Orchestra performs regularly at the Cumhurbaşkanlığı Senfoni Orkestrası concert hall, and the State Opera runs productions throughout the winter season.
