Ankara's Roman Theatre is a fragment rather than a polished showpiece, but that is part of its interest. The remains of the stage and backstage sit in Ulus, close to the city's older Roman and Byzantine layers.
Do not expect a restored amphitheatre with neat rows of seating. Come if you are already exploring Ulus and want to see how much ancient Ankara still sits in the middle of the modern city.
