A long red-brick warehouse built around 1900 for the Seppelt wine company, which supplied the outback pubs and the miners' clubs from this depot. The building is a good example of the utilitarian commercial architecture of the boom years — simple but well made, with iron-shuttered loading bays opening directly onto the street.
It has been adapted to other uses since the wine trade moved on but the exterior is largely intact. The block it stands on is one of the more atmospheric in the town centre, with several similar warehouses on either side.
