Belair National Park

Belair National Park protects bushland in the Adelaide Hills, close enough to the city for an easy half-day escape. Walking trails, picnic grounds, playgrounds, and open grassy areas make it more varied than a simple lookout stop.

The park also contains Old Government House, the former vice-regal summer residence, so a visit can combine light hiking with a small dose of colonial history. It can be reached by car or by the Belair train line from central Adelaide.
