Mount Massif is a 1,514-metre mountain in the Cradle Mountain high country, reached by experienced bushwalkers rather than casual sightseers. Its appeal is the exposed Tasmanian alpine landscape and the sense of being deeper in the park than the standard short walks.
Treat it as a serious walking objective. Weather can change quickly, and the mountain is only for visitors prepared for rough, remote conditions.
