Port Campbell National Park

Protected cliff-and-stack coastline containing the Great Ocean Road's most famous formations.

Port Campbell National Park gathers the most dramatic section of the Shipwreck Coast into one protected landscape. The Twelve Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, and several lesser lookouts sit close together, which makes this the busiest part of the road.

It is still worth slowing down. The limestone formations are changing on a human timescale, and seeing several stops helps you understand the process better than any single viewpoint can.
