The Redwoods of the Otway Ranges are an odd, atmospheric detour: a stand of Californian redwoods planted in a wet Victorian valley. They are not native, but the tall trunks, ferny floor, and filtered light make the place quietly memorable.
Visit as part of an inland Otway loop rather than a rushed out-and-back. The access roads can be slow, and the reward is the mood of the forest, not a single dramatic viewpoint.
