Aghavnavank Monastery

Aghavnavank Monastery is a small 12th- to 13th-century Armenian complex in the forested hills east of Dilijan. Its yellowish stone church is modest compared with Haghartsin or Goshavank, but the setting makes it a worthwhile stop for travellers exploring the quieter edges of Dilijan National Park.
