A small free museum in the former town hall on the central square, dedicated to Lamoral van Egmont and the broader history of the Flemish nobility he came from. Portraits, family trees, documents, and a copy of the death warrant signed by the Duke of Alba.
The museum is compact — half an hour is enough — but well organised and adds context to the statue across the square and the crypt in the church where Egmont is buried. English labels alongside Dutch.
