Dubrovnik's drinking scene splits between the terrace cafes on the Stradun, where you pay a premium for the setting, and the smaller bars tucked into the side streets and perched on the cliffs outside the walls. The cliff bars are the standouts. Prices in the old town are higher than elsewhere in Croatia, but that is the trade-off for drinking with medieval walls and the Adriatic as your backdrop.
