Getting There

Brno is two hours from Prague by fast train (Pendolino) and is directly connected to Vienna (1h45m) and Bratislava (1h30m), making it an easy addition to a Central European itinerary. The main station, Brno hlavní nádraží, is just south of the city centre and within walking distance of most sights. The city has a small international airport with flights to a handful of European destinations, but most travellers arrive by train. Buses run from Prague, Vienna, and Bratislava and are cheaper than the train if less comfortable.
