An atmospheric, dimly lit exhibition devoted to Kafka's life in Prague and his writing's entanglement with the city — originally staged in Barcelona in 1999 before finding its permanent home in a former brickworks beside the Vltava. First editions, manuscripts, letters, photographs, and audio-visual installations try to reconstruct the "existential space" Kafka inhabited. The Piss Sculpture outside (two animatronic bronze men urinating onto a map of the Czech Republic) is David Černý's contribution to the entrance.
